01 · Why BioPeak

Why Christine built a functional medicine practice

Christine started BioPeak because she was tired of how providers treated people. A patient would say something has changed in their body, and the visit would end with a prescription aimed at the loudest symptom.

Christine sees a limited number of patients, takes the time to understand the whole person, and stays with each patient through the years.

“When someone says that something has changed in their body, my job is to find out what.”

02 · The method

How Christine reads your body

She starts with your whole history.

The first appointment is an extensive interview of your health across your whole life: how you were as a child, what you have been exposed to, what the health of your parents and grandparents looks like. The cause of a present symptom often sits years upstream — an old exposure, an injury, or a habit that has been running for decades.

She does not treat without data.

Alongside the interview, she takes a complete baseline: fasting lab work across more than forty markers, an InBody body composition scan, and a PNOĒ breath analysis that reads how efficiently your body turns oxygen into energy.

She reads your labs for function.

A normal lab is the floor for disease. It says little about your body at its best. Christine reads each value against the level where you function well, which is why she treats patients whose labs come back in range.

She stays.

Labs are rechecked every three to four months, and your plan adjusts as your body responds. Protecting healthspan is work that plays out over years, and she is the practitioner you call when anything changes.

03 · The ask

What Christine asks of her patients

  • The first appointment takes time. It goes deeper than most medical visits you have had, and the depth is the point: The plan is only as good as the picture it is built on.
  • The treatment is half of the result. In her words: “Hormone therapy can often get you 50% to your goal, and you come the other 50%.” Your sleep, your training, your nutrition, and your consistency carry the rest.
  • Give a protocol a full twelve weeks before you judge it. Some patients feel a change in the first week. Your body still needs the full twelve to show what a protocol is doing.
  • She will tell you the truth, including when a service is not worth your money. Every recommendation follows your interest.

Christine’s background

Christine is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati and trained as a nurse at Boise State. She keeps current through conferences and clinical literature, following the practitioners leading cellular medicine, peptide therapy, and hormone optimization.

Sun Valley has been home for nearly two decades. In her spare time, she photographs life in the valley.
