What IV therapy delivers

An IV delivers vitamins, nutrients, and amino acids straight into the bloodstream.

Your body can use high doses right away — the same amounts taken by mouth do not reach the body the same way. BioPeak keeps a range of formulations for different goals:

  • Immune support
  • Recovery from illness
  • Rehydration
  • A boost when you are run down
  • NAD+, for mitochondrial function and energy

Christine listens to what you are looking for, offers the most appropriate options, and recommends one. An infusion takes about an hour — you settle into a comfortable chair and let it work.

Vitamin injections, the quick option

The same kind of support at a smaller dose, in a shot that takes a few minutes.

The most requested

  • Vitamin C
  • B12
  • Glutathione
  • Vitamin D
  • NAD+

B12 is the most popular walk-in, and its energy lift tends to carry for three to four days.

Injections also do targeted work. If your labs show low B12 or vitamin D, a short series of weekly shots brings levels up faster than supplements alone. For a patient on a GLP-1 who is not getting enough protein, an amino acid booster helps.

03 · Who comes in

Who comes in for IVs and injections

The most common IV patient is the busy parent who wants to stay ahead of getting sick.

They struggle to stay hydrated and bring home every germ the kids carry. Another is the endurance athlete with sore muscles, looking for recovery.

Some patients come in to correct a deficiency their labs revealed. Others come in for a revitalizing booster, most often B12 for energy.

The shot

If an hour with a catheter is not for you, a quick shot may suit you better.

The IV

If you want the effect to hold longer between visits, choose the IV.

IV and injection questions, answered

Injections can run weekly. For IVs, Christine will recommend a cadence that fits your goals and your health picture; some patients come in weekly for those too.
No. Before your first visit you fill out a short intake form, and we take a set of vitals to check for contraindications. That is all.
It depends on what you are after. B12 is the favorite for energy. If your labs show a specific deficiency, Christine will point you to the injection that addresses it, sometimes as a series of four weekly shots before a recheck.
It varies by treatment. A B12 boost carries a few days. Correcting a deficiency takes a short series. An IV generally holds longer than the equivalent shot.
